Sara is a licensed social worker with a MEd in Human Sexuality; both degrees are from Widener University.
Sara is a queer-affirming therapist who has extensive experience with LGBTQ+ young adults and clients with alternative relationship dynamics. She has also trained Virginia Tech University faculty on fostering safe spaces for students.
In addition to her expertise in supporting individuals and couples with sexual dysfunctions, Sara has a fantastic ability for helping individuals recovering from sexual abuse. Sara has facilitated well-respected and popular counseling groups for men experiencing erectile dysfunction and relationship discord while navigating substance abuse recovery.

Sara practices an eclectic therapeutic style. She utilizes a lively combination of psychodynamic, narrative, mindfulness relaxation, and queer-affirming therapies. Her interests and abilities span from addiction, depression, disability justice, sexual dysfunctions, gender, and sexual orientation issues, and anxiety. She has also achieved Level 1 of the Gottman Couples Therapy Method.
